Has this ever happened to you?

Ok a month or two ago, my computer got an extreamly bad infection from Deviantart. And the thing is, I don't download aything from.
Here's what happened:
I ran a scan before i went on deviantart, nothing showed up. I went on deviantart and I was looking at some art but then all of a sudden IE stopped working & then i couldn't do anything on my computer. I restarted it and when I did, all scan were disabled and there was a message at the bottom of my computer saying I have spyware on my computer. It was so bad I had to bomb my computer. I got my scanners back up and have been running them. They said i had lots of viruses and spyware on my computer. Has this ever happened to you guys?
